a fiona and theo day...
we listened to saint-saëns' carnival of the animals and the kids mimed which animal they thought each movement was- getting the elephant right away!
it was difficult to get a proper shot of them!
we also worked on our earth day piñatas...
marshmallow time
the kids were instructed to pick up four marshmallows with four toothpicks then count and document how many marshmallows they had.
flower power at RAD...
while the kids enjoyed observational drawing, they loooved being able to examine the flowers with not just their eyes, but hands as well...
...or study them under our magnifying glass.
we planted sprouting seeds and were delighted when they sprouted over the weekend!
