checking out a snail...
i gave the kids different cues like draw one medium sized circle or draw one large rectangle. the kids had fun predicting what they were drawing!
and afterwards- fort making!
school time at beckett's!
we had apples and honey for snack in honor of rosh hashana...
made salt paintings...
took turns with our new singing bowl...
played in beckett's magical backyard...
made pizza...
told secrets...
watched some construction workers...
...and made some constructions of our own!
in search for the perfect tree in prospect park...
once their special tree was chosen they sat down to study and draw it...
