the kids were very excited for julian's day at school with us! we talked about the different ways julian could be feeling and how we could make him feel welcome. julian couldn't have picked a better book to bring- magic pickle was great ice breaker! he explained the whole story to the kids!
and later the kids practiced their pattern making skills...
